SAV’s HIU training supports efficiency
Reflecting the importance of correct installation and commissioning of heat interface units (HIUs), SAV Systems continues to support projects with HIU training for installers, specifiers and end clients. The HIU training is provided by SAV’s highly experienced engineers, giving trainees hands-on experience of Danfoss FlatStation HIUs, particularly the twin-plate, fully insulated version for heating and hot water.
As well as covering installation and commissioning, courses also include diagnostics and problem-solving to ensure fast resolution of issues on site. Most recently, engineers from Box & Charnock attended an HIU training course at SAV’s low carbon application centre in Woking, in preparation for the Woodberry Down regeneration development in north London. The project will be using SAV’s FlatStation HIUs as well as the company’s LoadTracker CHP units.
