SAV Systems sponsors Heat 2014 conference

SAV Systems has been confirmed as a principal sponsor of the Heat 2014 conference, organised by the Combined Heat & Power Association (CHPA) and the Energy Institute.

This year’s Heat Conference will focus on ‘Lean Heat’, looking at the policies needed to move to a more efficient heat energy economy and inspiring examples of how policy is being translated into practice.

SAV’s Managing Director Lars Fabricius commented: “The technologies that will make a significant contribution to a more efficient heat energy economy, such as CHP, are already familiar. What we need now is a much stronger focus on how we ensure those technologies deliver maximum energy and carbon saving benefits.

“This comes down to understanding the factors that deliver optimum performance, such as lower return water temperatures, and ensuring systems are designed to achieve that. By highlighting the need for ‘lean heat’ we believe this conference can make an important contribution to defining best practice.”

Heat 2014 takes place on 5th November at the Hotel Russell in London.
