The DELTA Heat Pump features advanced noise attenuation and vibration control technology, making it whisper quiet. This design makes it particularly well-suited for installation in dense urban environments where noise considerations are important. The compact and modular design also allows for flexible placement in constrained spaces typical of city centres.
The DELTA Heat Pump uses a plug-and-play design approach that significantly simplifies on-site installation and reduces pipework complexity. The modular construction means you can choose from models with 1, 2, 3, or 4 independent modules, each with its own compressor, frequency converter, condenser and evaporator. This flexibility allows installers to configure the system according to specific project requirements without extensive custom pipework.
The DELTA Heat Pump has an ambient temperature operating range from -20°C to 42°C and can deliver flow temperatures from 35°C to 70°C. At low ambient temperatures of -5°C, the unit maintains excellent performance with a COP of 2.45 to 2.56 (depending on the model). Even at the extreme low temperature of -20°C, the heat pump continues to operate efficiently, making it suitable for various climatic conditions throughout the UK and beyond.
The DELTA Heat Pump is designed to operate with a large temperature uplift in a single step, which makes it uniquely suited for district and communal heating applications. This capability means it can efficiently handle the temperature requirements of multiple buildings or heating networks from a central location, providing cost-effective and efficient heating distribution.
The DELTA Heat Pump uses R290 (Propane) as its refrigerant, which has an extremely low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 0.02. This makes it an environmentally friendly choice that minimises the heat pump's impact on climate change whilst maintaining high energy efficiency and performance standards.
