Calculator device, to be combined with a flow sensor, either the Ultraflow 54 (for heating duties) or Ultraflow 34 (for cooling systems). Can work with flow sensors in either supply or return piping. Approved to EN 1434.
Calculator display to 8 significant digits. Can compute and display consumption readings for accumulated heating / cooling energy, water usage, operating hours, real-time flow, real-time temperature, real-time power and COP for heat pumps / boilers. Measurement units are selectable, such as energy in kWh, MWh or GJ. Can also display accumulated consumption for 2 additional meters, such as electricity and cold water.
The Multical 603 comes with 1 integrated M-Bus communication module (for interfacing either with main M-Bus network or a local pre-payment hub). A further optional M-Bus module would include interfacing for 2 pulsed inputs (for water & electricity) and 2 pulsed outputs (for water volume & energy). Open protocol throughout.
Each Multical 603 has an integral data logger for rescue in the event of failure by the central facility.
Options for power supply are either by battery (standard supply) or mains (the alternative), which remain interchangeable at any time.
Integral transformer (230v / 24v) can provide the actuation signal to solenoid-operated shut-off valve (see Thermal Disconnect, for revenue protection).
