Bellamy Close & Byng Street
In 2022, Tower Hamlets Council approved the regeneration of Bellamy Close and Byng Street, a landmark project led by Mount Anvil and One Housing. Set in the Isle of Dogs, one of London’s fastest-growing regions, the scheme will deliver more than 200 new homes across a 31-storey tower, spanning social rent, shared ownership, and private tenure. With bold environmental targets, including air quality neutrality and a 75% reduction in on-site carbon emissions, the development set out to redefine sustainable living in a dense urban setting. Achieving this required not only innovative architecture but also a rethinking of the energy systems that support everyday comfort.
