St Joseph High School
St Joseph’s High School in Newport has undertaken a major modernisation of its energy centre as part of a strategic commitment to decarbonisation. Previously reliant on ageing gas boilers, the school sought to transition to a low-carbon heating system that would reduce emissions, improve efficiency, and provide long-term operational resilience. Supported by the Low Carbon Heat Capital Grant, the project aimed to replace legacy plant with a future-proof solution built around renewable heat technology. SAV Systems was selected to supply and support the delivery of second generation heat pump solution tailored to the school’s operational requirements and site constraints.
