Key Features

LoadTracker CHP

LoadTracker CHP

SAV offers an enhanced service plan to ensure your CHP continues to provide low-cost, low-carbon electricity and heat.

It consists of an annual service visit and 2 planned preventative maintenance (ppm) health check visits spread across the year, along with annual gas-safe certification.

Your CHP health check includes:
• Issue report
• Gas safe checks to ensure continuing compliance
• Top up fluid levels
• Cleaning of strainers
• CHP run-up checks, check system temperatures
• Warranty product component validation checks
• Ignition checks including spark plugs

A partner through the full project lifecycle

Our approach is built around practical and technical support, clear advice and long-term partnership, not just about supplying products.

A partner through the full project lifecycle

Local CHP generation protects the owner/occupier from extreme electricity tariffs and is able modulate to meet the demand. It can be depended upon to provide low-cost, adaptable, generation with low carbon intensity. As part of a Hybrid Plant Room, CHP can provide heat and use the electricity generated to power a DELTA Heat Pump.

Information about our product

Frequently asked questions

What is Combined Heat and Power (CHP) and how does it work?+
Combined Heat and Power (CHP) is an on-site energy generation technology that simultaneously produces electricity whilst capturing the waste heat from combustion to warm your building. This dual-purpose approach ensures the maximum amount of energy is extracted and utilised from your gas supply, making it significantly more efficient than traditional separate electricity and heating systems. The LoadTracker CHP systems are designed to provide secure, stable, low-cost and low-carbon generation for your facility.
What maintenance is required for LoadTracker CHP systems?+
LoadTracker CHP systems are designed for low maintenance and feature industrial Toyota engines with extended service intervals of 10,000 hours and overhaul intervals of approximately 40,000 hours. SAV's experienced servicing team are on hand to ensure you get the most out of your CHP system, maximising reliability and uptime. Additionally, the systems provide free-of-charge performance reports to help you understand your energy savings and monitor system efficiency.
How can LoadTracker CHP help reduce my energy bills?+
LoadTracker CHP systems insulate you against electricity price spikes through on-site electrical generation, which directly lowers your energy bills. By capturing waste heat from the electricity generation process, the systems optimise energy utilisation and efficiency. You also receive free performance reports to track your energy savings, and optional condensing energy technology is available to further enhance heat recovery and maximise your cost reductions.
What noise levels do LoadTracker CHP modules produce?+
LoadTracker CHP modules achieve low noise emissions, with noise levels below 50 dB(A) at 1 metre. This makes them suitable for deployment in various environments, including buildings where noise control is a concern. The quiet operation does not compromise on performance or efficiency.
Can LoadTracker CHP systems provide power during electricity outages?+
Yes, LoadTracker CHP systems offer EC Power Blackstart battery storage availability, which ensures electricity availability during blackouts. Additionally, the systems feature independent control through LoadTracker control panels that automatically operate and control the CHP without requiring any interaction with the Building Management System. Thermal storage options are also available to enhance the system's reliability and continuous operation.
