Located in Renfrewshire, Paisley Grammar School Community Campus has been redeveloped into a low energy educational facility built to meet the Passivhaus standard. Renfrewshire Council commissioned the school, with Rybka in Edinburgh as consultants and Castle Building Services as the main contractor. The wider aim is to support the development of highly energy efficient learning environments across Scotland. The project prioritised comfort, good indoor air quality, and long term sustainability. It required a ventilation system capable of maintaining very low air leakage while delivering good indoor conditions for pupils and staff.
