SAV’s AirMaster featured in School Building magazine

SAV Systems’ AirMaster mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) units have been featured in the latest edition of School Building magazine, with particular reference to the benefits delivered for Furze Down SEN School in Buckinghamshire. AirMaster units have played a key role in maintaining good indoor air quality (IAQ) in class bases, life skills, media and nursery rooms.

They were specified by Frankham Consultancy Group because of their highly effective attenuation of traffic noise and low casing breakout noise, which is particularly important for SEN facilities. Reliable control of temperature and draught were important factors also. SAV Systems worked closely as part of the project team to ensure that each unit met the specific needs of the space in which it was installed. For example, units on the ground floor are connected horizontally through external walls, whilst first floor units are ducted vertically through the roof.
