Collaborating for better project delivery

By | Uncategorised | No Comments

There are a number of factors that contribute to successful project delivery, such as installation of heat networks and district heating systems. These range from system design and product selection through to the installation of all components and their ongoing control. Inevitably this process involves a number of parties, who need to work productively together to ensure the project delivery meets the end client’s expectations. The closer the collaboration – from the very first stages of the design process – the better the outcomes. This is why SAV systems has always placed great emphasis on working closely with all of…

The Committee’s recommendations include setting out the role of hydrogen for buildings on the gas grid during the next…

BEIS Confirms New Heating Networks For UK

By | Uncategorised | No Comments

Combined heat and power (CHP) installations are being put firmly on the map, thanks to a new wave of funding from The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). £320 million will support the wider use of low carbon and recycled heat in cities and towns. Through district heating (aka central heating for cities), the scheme will reduce heating costs (by over 30 per cent in some cases). Wasted heat from the likes of factories and power stations in urban areas will be recycled to heat homes and businesses and reduce heating bills. Heat networks Heat networks are already operating in…
