SAV Systems and its manufacturing partner Danfoss have entered a unique collaboration with mechanical and electrical contractor J S Wright. This will see J S Wright’s project delivery expertise informing the future development and application of Danfoss Flatstation heat interface units, as well as enhancing SAV’s project support for J S Wright.
SAV and J S Wright have been working closely together for 10 years on the design, installation and commissioning of energy efficient low-cost district hot water systems and centralised energy centres for large residential developments.
The partnership has now been further enhanced, with J S Wright engaging in direct discussions with Danfoss, helping the latter to gain an invaluable customer perspective on the UK market and industry trends. The discourse has also highlighted specific technical challenges that have been encountered in project delivery.
This added understanding will be fed into Danfoss’ future product development, while SAV will use the feedback to boost the local support it provides to J S Wright.
Jan Hansen, SAV Systems sales director, said: “The meeting proved to be an extremely useful exercise in terms of building on our strong relationship with J S Wright and furthering our understanding of how we can support the company in continuing to deliver successful projects.”
Silas Flytkjaer, SAV Systems product manager, added: “J S Wright contributed specific applications knowledge related to UK projects that we can now feed into the product R&D work being carried out by Danfoss at their factories across Europe.”
