West Bridge Mill CHP and FlatStation project gains awards recognition
SAV Systems has won through to the finals of the H&V News Awards 2013, with the West Bridge Mill multi-residential accommodation being shortlisted in the ‘time-proven project’ category. SAV was involved with the project from the early design stages, working closely with other members of the design team to ensure that the CHP was sized correctly to maximise the energy, cost and carbon saving benefits.

Award-winning residential CHP scheme cuts energy, carbon and costs
The Westfield Avenue multi-residential development in Edinburgh has won the Large Scale Housing Development Award in the Saltire Society Housing Design Awards 2012. The use of low carbon combined heat and power (CHP) and district heating from SAV Systems, supplied by East Linton based DBSA Ltd, played a significant role in enabling the development to meet the award’s sustainability criteria.

West Bridge Mill in Kirkcaldy is an award-winning social housing facility operated by Link Group Housing Association. The former rope mill has been converted into 16 separate flats, all of which are served by SAV LoadTracker mini-CHP.
SAV Systems Launches Low Carbon Technology Centre
On 4th November 2011 SAV Systems officially opened its Low Carbon Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey. The event included a highly successful Open Day, featuring interactive workshops, CPD Seminars and a District Heating Symposium which introduced state-of-the-art green technologies.
